I'm Dan Prince, co-author of Hollywood Babylon -- It's Back, and President of the publishing venue (Blood Moon Productions, NYC) that published it. And I want to thank Barry Lowe for having written his thoughtful and sophisticated review. He GOT the point of our efforts, and I value his observations very much. When, pray, can we meet him in NYC and entertain him as he richly deserves?
xx

It would be a fun, great book if any of it were true, which it isn't, and if the families of all of those people were all dead themselves. I really think it's revolting to make up stuff about dead people for fun and profit and have their families be hurt by it.

While I certainly think that Hector Arce's book on Tyrone Power was not good, as he left important information out in order to forward his agenda, he at least completely debunked what had been written about Power's sexual behavior in the past. And as it turned out, Errol Flynn wasn't a Nazi spy and info about Howard Hughes was gotten third-hand by someone (known to me) who tells every author, even if they're writing about Mickey Mouse, that their subject was gay.

Strange to me that all of this salacious material, 50 years old in some cases, never emerged before. Well, not strange, considering it's all a fabrication. Stories take on a life of their own after a day; as a researcher myself, I would love to see references for any of this material. - Jocelyn Chandler
