Big Bingay collects big takings

One of ACON’s premiere fundraising events, ‘Big Game Big Bingay’ raised a total of $12,035 on Friday, August 1.

Over 300 people participated in the jungle-themed bingo and trivia night, one of the three ‘Big Bingay’ fundraisers held throughout the year, with proceeds going to ACON’s unfunded programs. The games were presented by Mitzi Macintosh, Naomi Palmer and Carmen Geddit, and the many prizes included tickets to theatre shows The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Reefer Madness.

Tickets for a special DIVA Awards raffle were also sold on the night, with winners to be announced at the DIVAs on Monday, August 18.
