Huckabee equates gay sex with bestiality

p6_news_pic_368-250.jpgUS Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee has outraged American gays and lesbians by equating gay sex with paedophilia and bestiality.

In an interview with an online spiritual magazine, Beliefnet, the ordained Baptist minister and former Arkansas state governor said that he wants to affirm the definition of marriage as solely between a man and woman.

“I think the radical view is to say that we’re going to change the definition of marriage so that it can mean two men, two women, a man and three women, a man and a child, a man and animal,” Huckabee said.

Homosexuality is a mental defect, just like someone being born with down syndrome.

They may not know it's a perversion, but normal people should not accept it just because a growing number of people with mental defects are being born every day.

Normal society is being drug down into a quagmire of total immorality.

My mouth fell open when my partner of 5 years relayed this quote to me. I can't believe any person running for public office could be obviously obtuse.
With the slight exception of Texas billionaire Ross Perot's unfortunate comment about rape one foggy morning at his ranch in Texas, I've never heard a more clueless, close-minded comment.

And I thought Dubya (Bush Jr) was the worst Republicans could do.

Actually, he has outraged MANY Americans, not just gay and lesbian Americans. ALl decent people are outraged that yet another christofascist Jesus nut has found another platform for spewing the hatred of God.
