Bondi homeless kids’ crisis refuge Caretakers Cottage has confirmed its support of GLBT teenagers in light of National Youth Week’s Youth Homeless Matters Day (YHMD) held on Wednesday.

Laurie Matthews, Executive Officer of Caretakers (pictured, far left), said: “We want to recognise the numerous homeless kids in the GLBT community and let the general GLBT community know that we support them.

Caretakers employs several gay and lesbian staff who are all recruited on the basis that they can provide appropriate care for a diverse range of kids”.
